The countdown is on! Watch the 2020 AWIWA on Tuesday 24 November.
How good is that pic?!? That’s Emma Norbiato the moment she found out she was the winner of the ‘AWIWA Winemaker of the Year‘ award in 2016. She was tuning in to watch the awards stream LIVE with her Calabria Wines team. Because that’s how we did things when we first started these awards! We’ve been streaming them live every year, and in 2015 and 2016 when there was no real-life awards ceremony, it was live viewing parties like this one that made it all so thrilling! People created their own local and regional ‘Watch Parties’ and then got together to cheer on the finalists and winners and see it all unfold.
That’s how we’re rolling it out again this year. With large gatherings and interstate travel still difficult, we’re going back to where it all started!
Grab your colleagues, neighbours, friends and wine lovers, get the bubbly on ice and be ready to tune in to watch the winners of the 2020 Australian Women in Wine Awards announced LIVE at 7:30pm AEDST on Tuesday 24 November.
Presented by Langton’s TV from their Sydney studio.
We know what you’re able to do depends entirely on the COVID-safe restrictions in your own state and region, but whether you gather with your immediate household or your whole neighbourhood, everyone can be involved in this year’s awards.
The only question now is where will you be watching it and who with?
Put the champagne on ice. Champagne Jeeper is the Official Champagne of the 2020 AWIWA and you can get yours here.
